Fees & Insurance

  • Individual Therapy

$175/per session

  • Couple and Family Therapy

$225/per session

Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes.

Intake & Assessment: $250 for 80-90 minutes

I offer a 30 minute consultation without charge.

I support access to counseling/therapy and attempt to balance this with the sustainability of therapy practice. If you have any questions or concerns about affordability, please do let me know so we can discuss it.

I am presently not on any insurance panels and unable to bill insurance at this time (see *Out-of-Network Provider section below).

If you plan to separately submit a reimbursement request for Out-of-Network benefits from your health or medical insurance provider, I am able to provide a superbill upon request. Full payment will still be required at each session.

  • Please note that my office would be considered an out-of-network provider. I do not have an agreement with any insurance plan.

If you receive in-network care, federal law protects you from higher bills - “surprise billing”. These billing protection provisions typically applies to emergency care, or non-emergency care by out-of-network providers at in-network facilities; neither of which would apply to my office.

In consenting to receive my services, please be aware there is a possibility you may pay more because you may owe the full costs billed for items and services received, you are giving up certain protections under the law that may otherwise apply (ex. if you use in-network coverage as noted above), and/or your health plan might not count any of the amount you pay towards your deductible, and out-of-pocket limit. Please contact your health plan for more information.

Before deciding or continuing to work with me, you may want to contact your health plan to find an in-network provider or facility, and/or receive information as to your out-of-network benefits.

If your health plan allows for out-of-network benefits and covers the services I provide, you may request to seek reimbursement directly from your health or medical plan.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
